So, my first love is vinyl and that is taken care of. I have a theta gen V cd player and transport and it seems to sound better than most cd players I hear. When I have pressed people I know on how to upgrade or whether is was worth upgrading, most have said it's a pretty good unit still and changing over the something like the benchmark, which i could afford, wouldnt gain me anything. Now, feel free to refute that but my other question is about sacd players. While I am not sure the medium will survive it's temping to try it out considering that the theta is fincky with cd's anyway and wont play everything. Is there a good cheap way to get into it? should I bother? thanks
