Hello Inmates,This player comes from the eighties and I have always liked it but it is now almost unusable as it will skip with any Cd placed in it.
The first track or two will usually play OK but as ith transport moves toward the center the skips become worse. sometimes it will play the first few seconds of a track and then skip back to the beginning of the track. I figure it is an issue with the transport that moves the laser across the disc.
Any ideas for a simple fix?
