I would do none of the above first. But I would do the mod I listed on Tweekers Asylum under recent post of help on a DAC-AH....much quicker & much better..IMO..You would be by-passing the output stage in this mod, all done from top board with removal of nothing. Only a new set of RCA's need installed above existing ones, so You can swap between factory or your modded output stage & the output stage by-pass. The .47 Auricaps & 193L are highly recommended with this DAC, makes a big differance...Do it as pictured....
