Another shot for the DAC-AH.....

K.......I modded the allready modded DAC I got from DIY biz..I drilled for a new set of RCA's & tapped @ R35 & R36 & thru 1uf glass stacked film caps from long ago to the new RCA's, this is cool because you can use the original rca's for using the output stage or use the upper for complete bypass of it. Results @ this earlly stage is it will make it the weekend for sure. Still plenty of output for passive, this is a hot DAC.....& I think the output stage overloads my amp..it is realxed & detailed now with snap & much,much smoother all the frilly sh.....it won't replace my 1050's DAC , but it is much closer to a very good DAC in bybass mode. I will let it burn in for the week.If you got one bypass the thing & see what your amp likes, it is a world of differance between the 2 outputs..........will take you 1 hr max, all top side & no removal of anything..
