"Lots of other gear has come and gone, but I kept this unit."You'd be hard-pressed to find a digital source, at any price, at any vintage, that would be more-satisfying, from purely a musical perspective.
I don't know if Paradox is still around, which does mods on these units, but that company may be another resource for repair.
