I can tell you that i found the Arcam 192-T to be a lot smoother and not bright at all, not fatiguing at all. It just lacks a little "lilt". The Arcam has no real character compared to Naim and Quad, for example. But then many of the 192 Dacs have this problem, some of them very expensive.
