As I've built SCs from both of these from bulk, the 58025 is the smaller gauge compared to the 54240. Where the former should ideally be placed onto the tweeter | mid-range binding post as smaller gauged cables are made to produce speed, whereas thicker gauged wiring is more about low end impact, and if used the other way around can come across as weightier, but with slowed transient attack of notes.
