RE: Is OCC copper really superior to OFC copper?




As I had initially gone over to an entire Harmonic Technologies OCC cabling loom back in 2001, with their then original Truth-Link IC's | Pro AC11 + PC | Pro 11+ SCs, which were their pure copper offering and loved them, yet in 2010 upon trying their Pro Silway MK ll OCC Pure Silver IC's, I quickly discovered it was one of the worst sounding cables I've heard outside of the often praised Auditorium 23 SCs, which it seems were ideally created by the Shindo Labs Germany distributor to match said amps, yet both were amongst the most diffused | muffled sounding cables I've heard to date..., so as stated above is everything that's labeled as OCC even worth owning?, and while I know some like say UP-OCC based designs, here to I never felt anything superior in sampling cables from NeoTech, which simply struck me as somewhat in your face, but than again I can only base things on how they actually play within the confines of my system, collectively speaking.
