Cable Asylum

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

I've never used Balanced cable for anything even though I have the availability to go from the phono preamp to the main preamp, and from the main preamp to the power amp. If I buy two pairs of balanced cables (short ones) to make these connections what can I expect to hear as an improvement?
