RE: Aurender isolation footers

Mossback,

You're more than welcome. It's nice to hear that in some form or another you're using footers primarily designed around ball bearings as well, as I did go through the cheaper ( somewhat ) Stillpoints SS Mini | SS Ultra V 2 series of footers, along with several from Symposium Acoustics | Finite Elemente and felt they reduced the sense of nimbleness | attack of notes as used underneath my DAC at the time | never got around to placing them under the Aurender.

Yet having tried much of the Wood Tone based footers | isolation platforms and what nots, like Maple | American Black Walnut | Rosewood | Ebony | Sandalwood all of which ideally work within a system which requires a softer | warmer presentation | but the one that constantly impressed me the most under DACs as well as be the most cost effective footers I've tired, were the IsoAcoustics Orea line..., period.

As we both ( all should ) know, all of the collective parts within our systems resonate | therefore need to be addressed accordingly, yet to those that spend tens of thousands on the gear | then pick them down onto some ancient 70s tower rack of sort, without even thinking of isolation devices at all, I'd say you don't know that your systems true potential is, because you aren't listening to the gear in its purest form | one can never have a room that's to quiet | so cleaning up excessive noise(s) goes a very very long ways in achieving a sense of enlightenment that has always been within reach.

It's one's effort in paying attention as always to the smallest of details that matters most | well this and having a vast music collection doesn't hurt.
