Well, both the Silver Odin and the Gold Odin, at least the Chinese versions, are silver plated copper wire. The differences in sound come from differences in geometry / gauge / dielectric.
The Xangsane here has two pure silver cores, and should be very different from silver plated copper.
For the record, I really liked the Chinese Odin Gold in my system at the beginning, but ended up removing almost all of it, as I found it was making the sound too rolled off / slow / lacking dynamics. I have a new preamp, it may be a synergy problem, or maybe that's how they sound once they are fully broken in?
We will see how the Xangsane behaves!
