The unexpected is one of the things that keeps our interest in this "hobby" of ours. You just received a pleasant surprise and that's good news for you and heartening for me. Curiosity got the better of me and I ordered an Odin Gold power cord, too, which shipped yesterday so that may arrive in a couple of weeks or so.
Meanwhile the Odin 2 Silver power cord I just got continued to improve (the tonal balance is pretty much even across the board now and the soundstage has deepened/become more dimensional) for about 3 days or so and then stabilized. Whether there are additional incremental changes or not remains to be seen but I'm quite pleased with the power cord as is.
Your comments and others in this thread were instrumental (bad pun) in my deciding to give all this a shot and my thanks are due to all of you.
