I've gone thru perhaps 4 or 5 speaker cables in both of my systems over the last year. Nothing really outrageous in price for the most part, but all pretty well respected. These would include the Chinese Valhalla's, CRL Bronze, Wywire Blue Series, Zu Mission and DIY Mogami 3103. As of now, I'm finding the Kudo's KS-1's to be the most satisfying in both systems. FWIW, both systems are tube based in amplification.
In my small room analog based (for the most part) system, the Kudo's have also made an excellent showing for themselves. So as everything else in this hobby, only time and long term listening will tell, but these (Kudo's) appear to be solid contenders on all fronts. As of now their closest competitor to my ear would be the similarly even handed CRL Bronze.
