Hello KanedaK,

While I sent you a personal email awhile back on the matter, which went unanswered. I told it upon myself to read through the lines on your opinions | that found on quite a few other forums as it related to the Chinese Clones or Knock Off cabling brands if you'll......, two weeks ago it gave me enough confidence to buy a Chinese Odin 2 USB Cable, upon its arrival two weeks later | upon installing it between my Aurender X100L Server | DAC....., it took me all of 20 seconds to know something very very very special was going on with the manner in which it presented the notes.

So much so I caused to within 5 minutes list several different more costlier usb cables, which retailed between $585 | $918, where both sold within 30 minutes, this for me was as it has become since my days borrowing various cables via the Cable Company, as I never needed more than one day ( not 10 ) to know what each cable had to offer | would ask them to send the courier back the very next day, as said cables were ready to be returned.

My mindset is such, that when I hear something which offers a much much better sense of musicality or fidelity, I've learned to never second guess myself, nor doubt my abilities on knowing what sounds | feels right.

Dare I say this cheap arse $55 shipped silver plated usb cable has captured my imagination in such a way that once again, I've only heard with either pure silver or silver plated copper usb cables I've owned as far back as 2017, when I felt either the Audience AU24 SE ( $945 ) or Neutral Reference " i " ( improved | $760 ) from Italy became the best of the 21 usb cables I went through at the time ranging from $50-$945.........., having later on in 2021 becoming very happy with the sound of the Curious pure silver usb cable ( $365 | 1.5M ) from Australia, until I heard what I felt was the most dynamic | impactful pure copper usb cable I had ever heard bar none, in the In-Akustik Referenz usb cable ( $485 | 1.5M ) of which I believed the latter would be where my personal journey would end.

But was I wrong in thinking this way........, while some have felt silver plated copper doesn't have a place in cabling | tend to go all copper ( which is to my ears | in my system, where I can appreciate the sense of weight | bloom | textural beauty it brings to the mix, has always like gold plated connectors seemingly slowed or glossed over to much detail for my likings ) whereas with pure silver ( I'm able to appreciate the cables of better purity or quality than many, yet even here in my system, I've come to prefer it as my main pair of IC's ) yet silver plated copper on both my power cord on either server or DAC, has " in Mi-Fi " become something of which I know I can't live without, seemingly it's the same with said usb cable.

This for me has been the very first time I'm able to truthfully appreciate an added sense of warmth, yet the ability to hear even deeper ( further ) into each recording in a manner I've never heard before now......., hearing into what is heard with acoustic jazz recordings, is unreal, I'm able to hear decay of notes so much clearer, like cymbals lingering for seconds and seconds after being struck, here I'm also hearing layer upon layer | even another layers underpinned that allowing me to hear every whack | whack | whack or tick | tick | tick on said drummers techniques once again more clearly, as well as without even having to strain to hear said effects........., as someone whom loves all sorts of acoustic jazz recordings, as well as mostly anything Latin American or African Cuban based, even percussive instruments take on a new life of their own.

I'm not here to bash any domestic cabling companies in the least, as I'm aware of a few that feel Chinese or Taiwanese sourced wiring to be inferior........., yet I'm the type of realist or music lover whom how knows differently, as I tend to believe what I hear | can only base my findings upon said realities | not someone's opinion whom only seems to want to knock others firms, at the expense of pushing sales.

This cable after coming late to the game in investing in cables other than what was recommended for Naim users between 1984-2001, and since 2002 have gone through quite a few companies starting with Harmonic Technologies | Straight Wire | Apex | Acoustic Zen | Alphacore | RM Music Link | Oyaide, and having currently settled upon Yannis Tome Audio Design ( pure silver IC's from the UK ) which to my ears | senses has beaten every other brand of IC's which has entered our space | Kudos KS-1 SCs ( where I've read owners of $30.000-$50.000 Naim gear uses, so I felt whom am I to doubt what it offers......, and was right, as I'll never be without it on either of my Nait's ) power cords are a mixture of the Jena Labs Crimson Red with a combination of IeGO rhodium plated pure silver AC | IEC plugs on the server | Viborg Chinese made 12AWG or 10AWG power cords on said Nait's | several different vintages of the Pathos Acoustic Classic Model One ( where I own both their MK ll | MK lll models ) | lastly a couple of Puritan Audio Labs cords ( one on the Denafrips Ares ll | and the other on their PSM-136 Power Line Condition ) I'm in a much much much better place these days, where I've began to focus my attention on the music collection side of our shared hobby.

Being as I've never seriously looked at changing components just for the sake of it, as I've always looked at those that do, and then try to tell others what to buy as clowns......., I mean in all honesty, why on earth should I trust the opinion of someone whom every time you look up is selling off components in less than 2-3 months after buying it?, " I just can't view said advice as logically ethical ", why would I wish to make mistake after mistake the same as said a character, which obviously doesn't have a clue on what to buy......., and relies upon audio magazines class ratings, as opposed to getting out and hearing systems as they were intended to be heard, as set up by respectable dealers, whom base their findings ( pairings ) upon synergy, in my mind if this or that brands doesn't play well together, then why bother?.

At my age ( 64 ) why in the hell should I trust others hearing or opinions more than my own?, as if one shouldn't be sharp enough to realize we've all made mistakes along the ways, it merely comedown to realize how we each must go about correcting them | learning to reconnect with the music itself, it's only when we gain a sense of emotional connection as well as musical impact, that we tend to love listening to our system investments long term, just food for thought.

Based upon what I heard with this simply beautiful sounding usb cable......., it goes without saying within 2 days afterwards, I purchased a pair of standard RCA | XLR IC's | AC Cord, once again in my world......., hearing is believing. No class ratings required.
