Better sound quality is what we are here for, as audiophiles.
Cables are just another element of the system and, to my ears (and probably to a lot of us here on cable asylum) just as important as the rest (because yes, once all the rest is correctly done, you start really hearing the cables, and they better be carefully chosen).
