But what if it is your current cable that is suppressing brightness, grain or fatigue? A cable should just be transparent, and if this is the case it will sound bright, grainy and fatiguing with a new transparent cable. The term I always see is "like a veil has been lifted from the sound". If you lift the veil you might not like what you hear.
Just audition the cables and find one you like. I guess that depends on whether you have a local dealer that will let you do that.
