Jon...the experiment continues with me concluding they're somewhat more effective under lighter components. I did not like them under my 75 lb. LM 218ia. Here's where I used 4 under the trannies and 1 up front. Couldn't match what my Mad Scientist Black Pod footers do under this amp. Yet they show promise under both my Latino ST 70 and DenaFrips Ares DAC. Also, they have quite a bit of tuning potential in that you can remove a few of the springs to better match a components weight. So as of now, I'm trying to determine if a stiff or bouncy set up yields the best result. Bottom line, certainly worth a shot for around $33, but start with just one set and buy the aluminum version. FWIW, my benchmark for comparison remains the IsoAcoustics Orea footers.
