So I am working with cables again. I have a question regarding the gauges needed between silver and copper cables. I am mixing copper and silver wire in my newest experimentations. I seem to remember from my cable lore that you can use a smaller gauge silver wire than copper because it is more conductive and has less resistance. So if you have a 24 gauge copper wire you can use a 28 gauge silver wire in the same place.
Opinions?
