So I called Belkin, and they're going to swap out for the right ones, no charge! :o)

Very bizarre that the same model would have two different packages, with very different descriptions. Also, upon closer inspection, the barrel plugs are, indeed, different. No doubt: these are different cables... and my mind would not be able to relax without the assurance that I have the right ones!

I'm weird like that.
