I bought a NAD 3130 amplifier from ebay. Usually it sounds very good, but I do get static in the speakers on a regular basis, maybe 1/3rd of the time. I know that my volume control does make static sometimes when I adjust it. My question is, if I'm getting static even if I haven't touched the volume control, can it still be due to that, or is it something else, and if so, what might it be? I have already cleaned all connectors with Radio Shack contact cleaner. Thanks for your input.
