Like Mike Wolfe, when I get a piece of new gear, that disc makes an appearance. If the system seems a little fuzzy, or off, that disc makes an appearance. I also agree with your sentiment, Thanks Ayre.

Just this past Friday a new amp arrived (full tube integrated). That was the first thing played through this new amp. More than once. :)

As with all of you, a tradition for years. Gives my ears a bit of conditioning as well, no? :)

.. is it more effective than any old kind of music? Or for computers in general? Not sure if anyone outside the Computer Audio Asylum uses computers.
