Just turned it on and it's warming up sounding pretty good. Only 100 were made and almost all of them were bought back by Sony.
ST-5555 FM Spectrum scanner stereo tuner.

I had Burmester 978 for a moment from the same lot and eh! I just boxed it as soon as I deemed it properly warmed up and ready for new owner and not a minute longer before it could irreparably break my heart. No need for all that German glitz I was telling myself meh ..

They were/are not mine. I'm just helping a local collector to sell the rest of his stuff. He lost the purpose. It must have been one of the biggest if not the biggest collection of Fm Tuners in the world. All the best pieces were there. Sometimes the multiples of them. I bought Accuphase T1000 for myself.

Wow,
Sounds like a very interesting challenge to help sell-
I was offered an acuphase many years ago, but could not come up with the cash...

However, my Audiolab sounds better than a CD player.
Even my Emotiva Home Theater sounds better than Wiim Internet Radio.
Definitely keep the tuners.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

Looks like a super funky way to display tuning frequency.
