Sad R.I.P.
Saw him a few times at the Whiskey. The drummerless "Turning Point" lp was amazing.Just about all the Brit guitarslingers started with Mr.Mayall.

My first exposure to the blues was in 70 when I bought three Mayall cassettes at Montgomery Ward for $2.99 each.

Saw John during the Blues Fest at the Hotel Syracuse many years ago. Mick Taylor opened the show. Oddly, they did not do a set together. That was a big disappointment. Great show though.
