The depth and breadth of jazz musicians at the moment is unprecedented. They are all ove r the world. The Pianist is Miki Yamanaka. I have all of her albums.

Miki is the real deal. I've seen her a couple times in NYC (Smalls/Mezzrow). I wish she would come to DC occasionally. We've communicated via email for a few years. She has a new album coming out this summer with young bassist Tyrone Allen, a future star. The drummer is her happy hubby Jimmy MacBride.
