JBL 2441 replacement diaphragms again

I need to buy a pair of diaphragms for my JBL 2441 drivers used in my beloved Edgar salad bowls. I did some searching here and see that the original aluminum diamond edged diaphragms are no longer available. I see that you can buy a genuine JBL replacement with part number D16R2445 and also read a few posts about success with Radian. Can someone tell me if you have been done this road and how it all panned out? I tried the Truextent BE diaphragms long ago but they were too "polite" for my tastes. Thanks, Jim

I got Radians for my Edgarhorns' 2441's. Great sound.
