That's a lot of magnets...

Good to see you Out There, Fred. Just sent you a PM in case it doesn't show--got a K question for offline.

Great craftsmanship. What does MEH mean?

I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.

like the Danley designs where multiple drivers radiate from the same mouth.

Hi FreddyI
Well if they follow the rules, they can make a Synergy horn that radiates as if it had one full range driver on a large horn. Not sure they did though / rather it would depend on the raw responses as to where the permissible crossover points could be.

The upside is any driver on any horn will produce music but oth, the odds of finding the combinations that would work without building and measuring some prototypes first, is pretty small.
To be correct all the drivers have to be less than 1/4 wavelength apart (and to the range it couples to) at the highest frequency of operation, that way there is no interference and combine into one point of radiation.

If you place the drivers along the horn where the horn expansion rate is suitable for that frequency, then you are also driving the horn impedance transformation continuously over a broad band without a "seam".

With the right arrangement of drivers, spacing and passive crossover shape, one can end up with a crossover that has much less phase or no apparent phase shift vs the named filters.

Freddy i remember you from the way old, Unity Horn days, i was never able to figure out how to model your Karlson Coupler, that's a tough one. Ivan at work has one of the HF devices and we have talked about having them run on the Klipple to see "ok what do these do".

Hope your well, good to see your moniker. I have been busy making speakers for commercial sound although some are going in recording studio's but home audio is my hobby . There aren't as many DIY projects as the old days which is sad.

Here are where some of the big Synergy horns I design these days are going if interested
