Hi: This thing came out of an attic with only its AC cord. 7 pin DIN cable to the beocenter is missing. As is the beocenter. Do some pins have to be shorted or something on the DIN to make this thing come on? It is pulling zero from AC and nothing happens when buttons are pushed. Thank you.
Follow Ups:
Some of the B&O TTs have a switch that is activated by the pivoting of the tone arm - once the arm moves past the edge of a 12" LP- the motor will turn on...
The Pin-out for the DIN connector is pretty straight forward - see linky below-

Thank you. This one is linear tracking under total control of microprocessor which I think is buried under pushbutton panel. Looking at bizarre schematic, I think any push of any button tells the uProc IC to send command to multiple trigger transistors to turn on and make stuff happen. There is no movement of tonearm possible by direct hands on. I did join beoworld.org and posted query so far no answers.
alone in a system or with all the other Beocenter components?
If just the Table alone you need to have the proper cable for that or it will hum in your system. Go over to the B&O Forums site and there is a guy that makes the proper cables for this. Don't go onto Ebay cause you may end up buying the wrong cable and get a bunch of hum.
Thank you cougar! The beocenter is long gone; I only have this. The fuse on primary of the pwr xfmr was open so I got that part to go but it's still inert but for 2 watts of standby draw. I now find a second fuse on secondary so will investigate that. Will see about forum.
Here is the link below and you will have to join but Dillon and bunch of other are great sources and all help out.
At the bottom of the page you will see the pic of the guy asking able the cables. He does them the correct way.
I had joined that forum earlier today and got no reply yet to query about this thing yet. But thank you.
to help you out.
