looking at a pair of Bogen output trannies from a RPF60. Or I have UTC S-15s. Thanks for any help!

I'd expect the 7355 transformers to be about 4K primary. I have a pair of 4K Schumachers that measure fairly good, and have thought about using push-pull parallel 6AQ5s. Four or six per channel? Either way, I have enough output tubes for several lifetimes.
Dynaco Z-565 output transformers would be great.
those are tough to find cheap. what about these S-15 UTC?
The UTC 'S' series in not their high bandwidth offering. Look to the LS series; LS52 or LS54 IIRC, one has a 600R winding, you will probably want the other one.
cheers,

Friend, I would not hurt thee for the world...but thou art standing where I am about to shoot.
If you are willing to incorporate a GNFB loop, to ensure that the amp is linear at the audio pass band extremes, Edcor's GXPP15-8K will be FINE for triode wired 'AQ5s or any other 6V6 family tube. The GXPP15-8K is acceptable in an "El Cheapo", but you MUST tie the UL taps off. TANSTAAFL!

S-15 10000K primary to 8 ohm would work.
.
Based on the 7355 data sheet, I would say NO.
That "iron" should be OK with the EL34/6CA7/KT77 group, in triode.

I figured it was a long shot, thanks!
