Hey, you guys still around? I just picked up a sweet deal on my teenage days built it with dad KU-45a ebay deal, seller had already powered it up so I just received it and it powers up appears to tune stations with tons of the expected hum. Clearing the bench for it but any documentation would be super nice to have!

Has a "Bogen" look to me - and Bogen DID make some receivers for Allied. If you don't finda anything else, I should have the Sams schematic for Bogen RP-200 (AM/FM simulcast stereo - a year or two before that one).
Transformer numbers would tell who actually made it.
I can get the original schematic only from SAMS for $15 but this was also sold as a kit and I'd love to get a .pdf of that manual. The receiver powered up with hum and some tuning activity so looking forward to powering it back up with some new 'lytics in a few days, ChongX junk caps etc on order :-/
Thx-

I volunteer at the Antique Wireless Museum (currently closed but I stop in now and then). I can pick up the KU-45 schematic in the next week or so. email tbavis(at)rochester(dot)rr(dot)com
