If protesters in the U.S. and elsewhere want to be on "the right track" to resolve this current conflict, they'd be demanding immediate release of all Israeli hostages unharmed. Did I mention immediately?
Why is that so hard for some people to understand?

What I don't understand is why you think releasing the hostages would help Hamas.
What incentive do they have?
I don't know if it would benefit HAMAS. I'm just saying that the "protesters" are on the wrong track. They should be "demanding" the immediate release of all hostages taken on October 7.

The protests won't influence the policy of the belligerents But with any luck it will influence U.S. policy toward Israel. IMHO the point is that Americans see the moral failings of Zionism despite 100+ years of propaganda. We can start by immediately cutting off financial support to Bibi's colonial regime.
What the students want is regime change in Israel.
