couple questions
I've tried it many years ago and a few other products. I forgot all about the waxing. I've got a few waxes, what about the newer types like Tech Shine and 303?
I don't remember what is best for the wipers. When I used Rawn re-grip all kinds of black nasties come off. What do you use on the wipers? I haven't tried the newer Silicon wipers and see if they do as claimed to last far longer. They are 2-3 times the price of the usual.
Follow Ups:
They're the best I've used on the Cobalt. I think they're silicon, they also prevent snow build up on the blades, and they last several years. I've tried Rain-X and Michelin blades, they aren't as good as Bosch, at least on my car. I think the shape and contour of a car's windshield has a lot to do with how the wiper performs. Rain-X and Michelin blades cleared the windshield fine, but the Rain-X blades wore out fast and the Michelin blades made a horrendous screeching noise as they swept across the windshield.
I just use Meguiar's carnauba wax on the windshield. For the car itself, I use AMMO NYC's Skin. Goes on easy, comes off easy, lasts a long time. It's expensive, $65 for a bottle but that bottle goes a hell of a long way. It also has a pungent smell that'll linger in your nostrils.
Something I've done since I got the car in 2015...NOTHING touches the exterior of the car except water, soap, microfiber, wax, and polishing pads. I don't allow anyone to touch the car. If it's dusty, touching it will leave scratches.
And it's dusty right now, I just got back from a bike ride and the trails are very dry and dusty despite all the rain we had last month.
The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
