So the ideal distance to my speakers seems to be in a bass null in the room. So now what do I do, I mean to hear a little bass?
Follow Ups:
Get a decent 10" sub with a set of SVS transceivers. Place the sub, downwards firing preferably, and reciever as close and tastefully as you can to the seat. Adjust it as you see fit. All you need is an available outlet by your seat.

I'm not being entirely facetious, you know.
Map out the nulls and maybe you can adjust/accommodate(?).
all the best,

Try a position at dimensional thirds.
Move things around. And use targeted bass traps if you can
I had the same problem, and I like bass. Why throw away 2 octaves of sound...
Here's one thing to at least consider besides other suggestions (i.e. re-arranging the room). If you have some room just to the immediate rear of your listening position, put a sub there. It doesn't have to be a big one. Try a powered sub with a 10 or 12" woofer with a built-in crossover and lots of speaker wire to run to your speakers or amp. I purchased one from Parts-express for 250 bucks and it does the job very well. I was able to hide the wire along the walls/floor.
It's set low in SPL volume, almost inaudible unless you turn it off and fills in nicely with the crossover set at the lowest setting. The woofer is down firing and the hookup I use is for L and R into the inputs. You also have to pay attention to Phase and mine has a switch for that.
You'll have to run power to it. Speaker wire for both channels goes to either your speaker's connections or amplifier. You could also do a wireless hookup I suppose but I had the wire to do it and I didn't want to complicate things.
This comment assumes that the OP's system does not have a sub.
Adding a sub may work, but the OP can experiment with sub placement as the addition of the sub will mix up the null "map" no matter where it is placed.
If the OP already has a sub, maybe it can be moved around.
Comments above about moving the speakers and/or listening position may also work with or without a sub.

it seems like he has a similar problem that I have with my room, a suckout near my listening position. I have no choice in the 'room', it is what it is.
Since he doesn't link his system on AA I just posted what I thought as one solution and others posted theirs. No harm done.
You should ask him what I did not and tell him to give us a pic and list the system and dimensions of the room
hard to help with so litttle info.
