Occasionally I see someone mention their -B- system which I interpret to be the other system somewhere else in the house other than where the -A- system is located. I have a -B- system and was curious if anyone else has one also. Pics would be nice, too.

I once had a "B" system..... (I actually called it the "B system"... ) It was basically a less expensive alternative of the main system......But roughly ten years ago, when I landed a pair of custom Eminence high-efficiency speakers, the "B" system morphed into the "high efficiency" system..... I also call it the "100 dB Club" because the speakers are 100 dB efficient.
The two systems get roughly equal play time..... The main system has the higher end vinyl rig, the "high efficiency" system has streaming audio and cassette recording/playback capability..... And people are split 50-50 in regard to which system they prefer..... The presentations are different, but I wouldn't say one system or the other is demonstrably "better."
Some brief clips of both systems..... The main system had vinyl playing, the high-efficiency system had streaming audio.

I sold them to a friend who still has them and I get invited over every now and then for a listening session. They still sound good especially on rock.
The original Von Schweikert VR4 was one of my all-time favorite loudspeakers..... The speakers in the video clip are the "VR4.5 Mod VR5"..... With the "4.5" woofs and Focal tweets.....
I've had thoughts on occasion to upgrade these speakers, but prices for good speakers have gone through the roof..... Unless I somehow get massive funds for more modern speakers, I will stick with the Schweikerts indefinitely.
My B system shares the HT room with a Sony HT A9 with a 500 SW. It's comprised of an Ayre QB-9 DAC, Ayre AX-7e integrate, Ayre C5 MP disc player, Oppo 205, and a pair of KEF Reference 1s.
My system profile has been updated to include my headphone rig and equalizer.
Here is a pict of my bed system with a Focusrite Rednet Am2 internet audio/ headphone amp driving some Shure SE846 earbuds. I have since added a passive pre and another dac to listen to youtube feeds from my phone.
The focusrite is hooked to the main system via ethernet and can play stored music and be controlled from my phone's web browser.
Added a battery powered headphone amp to play both sources (phone and main system music)

Space is the Place in our small SF flat and that does more than
a fine (and satisfactory) job of filling the space we have with
music. Setting up a B system would result in listening to gear more
than music. What a bore and chore that would be. Been there, done that.
Had a decent B system in the kitchen for a bit but it was just... redundant.
Don't consider the Audioengine speakers on the computer a system.
Gave components to a friend recently and he set up a West
Coast system. Have enough no longer used components in
the basement to set up one or two more when I find them a
good home.

Many of us have pictures of our systems posted via our Profile -> Add System.
Go to the Top Right of the Asylum webpage and click on "Profile". Then click on "Add A System".
are 'A' systems. :-)

My B system (apartment system, no pictures) is the only one I currently bother to make a profile of. My "A" system is in a relatives basement. I am forbidden from posting pictures of it.
The -B- system in the office.
SE 6BQ5 / 12AT7 / 5Y3GT console pull, DIY 6SN7GT / 5Y3GT preamp, Fostex full-range speakers, M&K sub not shown.
The -C- system under the main -A- system.
Lafayette tuner, another SE 6BQ5 / 12AT7 / 5Y3GT console pull. EV bookshelf speakers. This system uses a Meridian 541 preamp, 500 transport and 563 DAC. The transport and DAC also serve System -A-.
D system - in idle dedicated audio room - I temporarily stole the McIntosh C36 preamp for system A.
E system - 5.1 HT in living room
F system - in the garage

As a relative newcomer, perhaps you're not aware of the system listing and gallery capabilities here. You're welcome to create you own systems.
Click an inmate's moniker and you'll find some additional information about them. You'll also see if they have created system listings and a photo gallery.
Inmate systems is also considered a "forum" for searches. If you wonder how many folks use brand X, that can quickly be determined.
Info and pics of mine are readily available.
failed to amaze me the variety and selection of systems there.
No two are identical and I would think all bring satisfaction to their
owners.
That right there shows what a great pursuit this is.

Thanks for the reminder to look up Inmate Systems.
But I just checked there for anyone having an Audio Note component and it didn't find any. So that was a surprise.

M3lover - I have Audio Note speakers in my main system. Look up the RGA systems. The last one is a full Audio Note system.
That's a tricky search and even one that gets results, gets too many. You'll find some here for Audio Note.
The resident fanboi stopped posting here after well, threatening me (and later apologizing) over some stupid political issue of his but there are clearly others who own that brand.
Even though that includes whose with "Audio" anywhere among listings.
