My favorite, from a top 10 Seinfeld episode, but nothing to do with audio.
the coolest vanity plate I ever saw, many years ago was "1FUNGRL" on a white Mustang.

I know this isn't related directly to audio, but of interest for Trekkie fans.
Fellow had it for 2 years, but the word implied on the plate turned out to be offensive to Indigenous people. So he had to change it, but at no charge, as it should never have been allowed in the first place.
The news became public and everyone understood once it was explained. Or most everyone. Of course there were those that argued about it.

I love that one.

I think I got it, and don't want to give it away, but never realized the word reflected self-interest or even being somewhat immoral until I looked it up. I always thought it just meant effective. I have learned something today!!!
Cheers!

Try this one on for size...6UL DV8. Or, as seen on a Mazda RX8...Poorsch
My daily driver is a Mazda RX8, and I totally agree: it's a poor man's Porsche. Which, given the reality of American roads, is a pretty good thing to be.
Happy listening,

Awesome plates!! Reminds me when in the 70's I was a huge Jethro Tull fan, so I went to the Registry to get a Vanity Plate. I couldn't get Tull 1, so I got Tull 2. I proudly put them on my car and when my dad got home, he looks at them and said "Who is the other a**hole?" I looked at him perplexed and asked him what he meant. He said "Who has Tull 1?" I miss my dad very much. Anyways, enjoy the plates, they look great!

So sorry to see you from Illinois.
Hope you can escape someday.
Tim
Loved it so much I took the special 7 years to the B.A. program at my little child of U.of C., Shimer College, in bustling Mt. Carroll, just down the road from Lanark.
From the rocky corn fields of Carroll County to the Palisades of the Mississippi to the "are we in St. Louis yet" southern reaches to the Wrigley Building, Illinois has it all.
Best of all Chicago has Muddy Waters, Memphis Slim and the rest of the Chicago Bluesmen. And Mrs. O'Leary's Cow.
As a refugee from there, I can say conclusively that Illinois is great place to be from.

Nice!!!
Nice, but what about next year when you upgrade speakers?
