Not weird...

Belkin PureAV seems to indeed no longer feature PCOCC for the particular product. Belkin's web sites information has changed in recent weeks (see link below).

My guess is the cost of PCOCC single crystal copper has simply jumped too high for Belkin to continue using the material for the product to sell at a desired price point. You did a good thing to contact them in order to get the product you wanted, TopPop ;-)

About your previous comment about burn-in, the cable took at least the (somewhat usual) 400 hour mark before a more open sounding soundstage fully developed and for the previously mentioned treble smear to subside.
