Hi all,I am putting together a simple 2 channel system for friend, and would love to believe that there is an integrated out there that would hold up to the Studios...anyone have suggestions? Ideally something under $3-4k msrp. I know, I know, separates would be better, ML would be ideal, etc--but there are aesthetic, space, simplicity, and budget limitations that would make a high quality integrated ideal. Should such a thing exist:-)
BTW, SS only please.
thx!!

Try PSAudio GCC newest amps 250 or better 500. They rules!!!
thoughts on required power?
I use a Levinson No. 23. I previously had a No. 27 (100wpc), and it sounded okay, but when I upgraded and doubled the power, the Studios really came to life.At some point, when I have the money to spare, I will probably get an even bigger amp (and probably monoblocks to boot!)
The Revel's are damn fine speakers. Marantz is coming out with a reference line integrated early '05. It can be seen on amusicdirect.com web site. Their reference gear is top notch. Levinson also has a very nice but spendy integrated. Nothing wrong with NAD's big integrated amp. I have the smaller one. Cheers!
