My search-foo is failing on HiFi Haven, apparently. I can not find
that member or fs100 or fs100pf, and I was interested to see the pictures :)

Here's another picture, showing the glass cage around the plate choke, which is at

[ +500v. The circuit common is at -500v, so nothing is further than 500v from safety ground.]This is an error - see correction below.

Mike LaFevre was always reluctant to specify the iron for 1000v (liability concerns, I think).

I mis-remembered the voltage story. The plate choke core is at the full 1kV B+.
