Taking a well deserved break after peeling and chopping up the turnips (a real man's job!), carrots, and making some coleslaw, I'll take this opportunity to wish everyone here a day filled with gratitude and happiness. I have no sound system in the kitchen, so I brought my Denon 5 CD changer in on the counter and play it through my Bose PC speakers. Not bad for kitchen work. A terrific recipe for Thanksgiving morning happy listening: put in five Ray Brown "Best Friends" CDs to fill the changer, hit random play, and swing to the groove for about 5 hours. Ideal music to chop veggies by. Even the potatoes which are waiting to be peeled won't dampen these spirits now!Again, wishing all of you here a great Thanksgiving....
