when you make a change whether it be a core component or a tweak.I have made a number of changes and tweaks in my system from major to minor and regardless of what is changed I always hear a difference and sometimes a very noticeable one. I am wondering if this is the experience of most on these boards. All opinions invited.

I am part of an unoffical Martin Logan fan club. There are 4 of us that go to each other's house & test out new equipment or exchange interconnets or power cords. It has come to the point do our stereos sound better or different? Its amazing what little tweaks do, but is it always for the best?
I hear a big difference every time I switch from Mozart to Stravinsky.
Often I can hear changes when I switch from one conductor to another, even within the same piece by the same composer. Is this the kind of "tweak" you meant, or were you looking for the General Asylum ?Regards

Tongue In Cheek? = ;> )
Yes, very true. That has been experience too. I have made the mistake of doing more than one tweak at a time without listening intervals therefore not witnessing the accomplishment of a particular modification.
