I've never heard of Joe Wright. Never actually heard Dill Jones and only heard Frishberg once or twice. I don't have any 3 Sounds stuff. I have a couple of Harris' own later (after 3 Sounds) recordings as well as several he's a sideman on. He sounds great on all of 'em. Later Harris is usually recognizable by not only his blues-infested style but also his full use of Peterson-esque chops. He seems more restrained on that cut.

Send me your poor, your disenfranchised, etc. I can take a CD or email files but not more than about 48kbs/tune for easier downloads. I love to hear other peoples things. Remember, I was doing this for almost 2 years by myself. And remember this also -- I don't think any other Web site does this type of thing. It has been a lot of fun and somewhat important in it's own little way. I almost closed up shop until I realized that people really were interested. We got some serious folks involved. DMo (Diane Moser) has that composer's workshop band and is a very fine piano player and writer. Yeah, she's serious.

You may or may not hit any of the players involved, but the most fun sits in listening to what others find interesting, which most of the times is something new, or something you forgot about for too long.
Absolutely agree! I think this kind of thing is unique on the web, as is Barry's energy and enthusiasm which is very, very infectious.
