Any link to the DVD-A compatible recorder? That could be great.Best

This unit will be launched in June; information is already available at www.panasonic-europe.com (click DVD Video recorders).

I'm really surprised nobody offers high quality audio recording on those machines (one of them has Dolby Digital 2Ch recording if I read correctly, which is not great). Oh well, it will comeI liked the 3D view thing for their model with a 40GB hard disk (see link). If you rotate and zoom, you can really check out the audio connections on the back panel... and you discover it has a huge PC-like fan on the back. vrrrrrrrrrr.

2.0 DVD Audio playback is just one of many features of Panasonic's new player and recorder setup. Maybe we will see real DVD-A recorders in 2004...
I first thought you could record music on a DVD, no problem, just press 'record', right?. Then I realized that no manufacturer has made this feature availalle, you need to record audio only associated with some video signal (and at 48k only). So you have everything available in a single machine, and no way to use it for audio.Anyway, based on the test I have done, the implementation of DVD-A specs on Panasonic players seems excellent.
