Got my copy today and leaving aside subjective comments about the music, as a DVD-Audio disc it's hardly "stunning".The surround mix is pathetic, worse or no better than the ambient creations from Silverline that are so criticised. If you run the stereo mix through an old passive Dolby Surround matrix the presentation is more convincing.
The total lack of extras is also a sad sight to see. A few videos, behind the scenes footage, lyrics, anything like that would've made the package so much more attractive.

The music is way more important than the "extra's" content.
Just check out our bud's at Hi Rez Hwy with Sacd's.As for the surround mix-I find it way better than Silverline's.
Especially when the music is spread evenly from left/center/right speakers as is done with this disc.
The rears are used for soundstaging, and it works well. But of course you're entitled to your opinion :)
...that I wasn't going to argue about the music, but as a 'total package' this is one disappointing release.Just think of the amount of attention supplementary extras would have brought. Sure, they're not as important as the music, but they help get bums on seats and draw more people to the DVD-Audio format. Without them, this disc is no different to most people than the CD release.
Can't agree with this disc being no different than a CD.The main point of DVDA is all disc's are HiRez Multichannel.
This disc will always be better than a stereo only CD.
As for extra's as I said I like them too,and am disappointed none were included, but I knew that before, and still bought the disc for the Multichannel music.
Yes there are horrible sounding multichannel DVDA's (and SACD's),but this is not one of them.
