remember this is a set containing the full soundtrack of the first movie, not an abridgement, in 16/44.1 on 3 CDs, 3/2.1 and 2.0 mixes in both hi rez and dolby digital on the 4th disc, and a lengthy booklet having lots of discussion of the music and musical notation of themes, descriptions of the non-western instruments used, performer info. etc. The packaging is slick, kind of pretty. The surround mix is good and theres so much music i havent had time to really listen to the stereo mix yet..
I've listened to the earlier single CD abridgement ($18.99 list) of this music many times and theres no comparison with this set. If you enjoyed that disc, I highly recommend this. Even if it is 24/48.
