"In order to qualify for DVD-Audio certification, a release must have a true Hi-Rez MLP multichannel mix of no less than 48/24. Releases which are stereo only cannot carry the DVD-Audio logo - even if that stereo track is true Hi-Res MLP - because of the multichannel requirement.
