There's absolutely no concrete data that indicates Philips is an MLP licensee. They do not appear on the public licensee list. HFR made this claim last year, but they are well-known for publishing wild rumors as fact.
Follow Ups:
> > They do not appear on the public licensee list. < <Well that would certainly not surprise me. What about a non-public one? I've seen that sort of thing happen all the time in other industries (i.e. 'client lists' where some important customers ask to be omitted for competitive reasons). Or where they have asked me not to disclose their customer status in my B-to-B articles.
If you want to build castles in the air on a foundation of cloak-and-dagger conspiracy-theory crap, be my guest.Go ask Plush about it. He says "high-level management" tells him secrets they don't reveal to anyone else all the time. Maybe if you stand close enough to him you'll be able to hear the radio in his head that receives these secret messages :-)
> > If you want to build castles in the air on a foundation of cloak-and-dagger conspiracy-theory crap < <You have made an assertion that you still refuse to back up. For my part, I am open as to the whether Philips may, or may not, have an MLP license, but you have steadfastly been unable to shed ANY light on the matter. Suit yourself. You do not have many supporters here (and I include HH as well), and it's easy to see why. You have as much credibility as a legless centipede.
"You have made an assertion that you still refuse to back up."Ridiculous. I merely stated that someone else's assertion, which you parroted, was not backed up with any verifiable facts. This is indisputable.
"For my part, I am open as to the whether Philips may, or may not, have an MLP license, but you have steadfastly been unable to shed ANY light on the matter."
Nonsense. I told you to go look at the licenser's website to see if Philips' name was there, figuring that since you are such a genius you'd be able to find it for yourself. Are you now saying that you are unable to find a particular website? How come? I found it easily enough.
"Suit yourself. You do not have many supporters here (and I include HH as well), and it's easy to see why. You have as much credibility as a legless centipede."
Unlike you, I am not looking for supporters, nor do I need cheerleaders. I'm not a zealot bouncing between two forums carrying the torch for the "purity of future audio transmission." But since you need supporters for your crusade, let's see who you've got: ZS KEKL and Plush.

Answer: Nothing but piss people off. Even when you do make an attempt at giving sound advice, folks just don't want you around. Period.
