Is Dan Heend. I've met him at several Steve Kimock Band concerts and greatly admired his recording rig (DAARWIN-24 laptop), a custom PC with 24-bit recording capability. If you'd like to see (hear) the output this thing produces, go to http://www.archive.org/audio/etree.php and key in "Steve Kimock 24 BIT RECORDING" and click the Go button. You can download these shows and burn 'em to a DVD (using http://www.audio-dvd-creator.com/index.htm ) and then play them back on most any DVD player - at 96kHz/24 bit!!!
They were recorded by Charlie Miller. But I agree, they sound terrific!

Read my post again, I stated that he was the author of the document and that I met him several times, nothing more. I am well aware that Charlie and Arielle did most of the 24-bit recordings, their names are there for all to see...-RW-
