Hey thanks! Just got Grieg Piano Concerto & The Doors for $19. Much obliged :)
I searched for DVD Audio and found a bunch, but found even more by searching for (DVIt's a fluke in the system but at these prices it's worth a little futzing.
i was trying to figure out how to get all the dvd-a titles to come up! than!
"HEY" - BIG A
Got Neil Young and Billy cobham!
Thanks! I jut scooped up Donald Fagen's 'Kamakiriad' for $8.62. That's cheaper than what I can get a used CD for! If you like Steely Dan, you will most certainly like DF's releases. This was released in '93.I only have one other DVD-A, The Doors, 'L.A. Woman' I had never heard it before I bought it on DVD-A other than the highlight songs, such as the title track and 'Riders on the Storm.' The latter, by the way, sounds quite nice in sourroud sound.
Not trolling, but I prefer SACD. Not necessarily because of sonic differences, but more because there's less hassle. I could care less about menus, lyrics, pictures on the screen while it's playing, etc. I just want to get the music going as quick as possible. But Donald Fagen's titles aren't available on SACD so I went this route. I would've like to have found Sinatra at the Sands at deepdiscountdvd.com, but alas they didn't have it.
.
I used "SUMMERSALE" promotion code a few days ago to get 20% off too. It cost me $12.08 incl. free shipping for a Neil Young DVD-A. It depends on what yours tastes (e.g. rock, classical) are and your preferences for multi-channel (e.g. aggressive vs. ambient mix).
Great deals , THX
