The first link only points out that other car systems suck more, the second one points out that the AS reviewers expected less than I did. What really bothers me about the system is the overemphasis of the lower midbass and the lousy integration of the speakers, i can hear the tweeter going a mile a minute, the center speaker and if nobody sits in the passanger seat the right speaker is also quite annoying. The surround sound in the car is worse than in a home system, esp. considering the goofy mixes people make. So anyway i would have been a lot happier if they spent their resources to create something that sound musical as opposed to "Impressive".I am just happy that the car is very nice and while I am driving the sound becomes just a thing in the backround. I tried to listen critically to the damned thing one day while i was parked and and i gave up on it real quick.

whats the point to have more? Am I supposed to get into an argument with them about the stereo or sumptin'?Huh?
OK That was supposed to be funny..
Just don't use two female manequins on the back seat, or they will start chatting.Cheers :)
If you need some passengers to correct high frequencies, use some kind of manequins or dummies, and perhaps you can even dress them with various clothes and hats to change the acoustics. Call them Joe and Frank, and when you need more high frequencies, just stick them in the trunk. You will also find that agressive drivers are less likely to threaten you if they see three big guys with sunglasses sitting in the car.
You may get some funny looks at work, tho :)Cheers
