I've noticed no problems with the disc. Perhaps there is dust build-up in your player or static charge on the disc.
with the static. Listen and see if there is a sound you are assuming is part of the music.

honestly.a) There is no static at those points;
and
b) it is such a superbly produced DVD-Audio that your second sentence beggars belief.

at the same point, precisely, I can set the player to replay and get the same passage with solid static. And the music is still audible, so it is not dust on the disc, that could cause static, but would have to briefly interrupt the music. Unless some software is trying to mask the noise, by error correction.

Sounds almost like percussion, but it is electrical static.I just cleaned the disc with spray cleaner, no difference. Thanks anyway.
