i am starting to figger it out, maybe.. i have a dvd player and receiver, both of which have 24/96 chips. i don't know what the chips are; presumedly not burr-brown or they'd say so? both are Integra models - from Onkyo - a couple yrs old. i assume these can handle source material that is higher res than redbook cd, since they can play this kind of material (ok so far?). i have a couple discs from Hi-Res company and they do sound 'better' than most of my other 16/44 cd's. so... should i expect other 24/96 sources to play well in my setup? if so, what are some companies to shop music from besides hi-res? thx!

If i had known I would have bought many more of those DADs...but they spoiled me with $15/ea...ill just wait for the next promotion...you guys keep an eye on this and let us know.
Even though Classic Records website list them at $25, you can still find the "Classic 24/96" DADs at $15 on the Internet music stores. The new "HDAD" titles are more expensive.Best
good serch engine in a site you'd know for those DADs (24/96)?
